Job Description
The Role
As a Full Stack Developerwill be responsible for the development and engineering of digital solutions across the company.
The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for:
Full Stack Developer (Front to Back end)
Developing effective digital solutions including electronic forms (eforms), workflows and integrations.
Designing, testing, improving and implementing code that meets user needs.
Undertaking user research to effectively engage with all stakeholders.
Ensuring that developments are current, fit for purpose, aligned to the digital strategy, and follow good practice, including full documentation, prototyping and relevant testing as appropriate.
Identifying opportunities for the enhancement of digital solutions provision throughout the Council
How you'll contribute
Take a technical lead on the digital solution developments, ensuring that all work is prioritized, quality-assured, and delivered on time whilst ensuring liaison with users both internal and external to the teams.
Work closely with service areas and technology partners to deliver effective, integrated digital solutions. Act as a key contact with platform suppliers for any problems identified by solutions development
Use development languages, tools, and eForms to create, review and update online content based on evidence from user research, user testing, feedback, and analytics.
Provide support to internal users with any operational and development
Provide analytics on use of content, and digital customer portal to support transformation work.
Be a Subject Matter Expert on the fit and suitability of digital solutions for directorate operations throughout the company.
Implementing quality control systems, processes and schedule of improvements to the digital environment to ensure that all digital solutions are fit for purpose and meet the company's on-line standards and guidelines.
Gather requirements, design, develop and deploy digital solutions.
Take responsibility for your own personal and professional development ensuring that technical knowledge and skills are current and meet the demands of the post.
To carry out regular site maintenance including link-checking, accessibility checks, site reliability, archiving, and audience usage analysis.
To work within the context of legislative frameworks and carry out the responsibilities of the post with standard given.
Such other duties as may be reasonably required, commensurate with the nature and grade of the post.
Develop solutions using desired programming languages based on business requirements.
Learn new technology and able to apply it. Developer needs to know and implement and program the following language PHP, MYSQL, JAVA, JSON, APACHE, LINUX
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences
Have 1-4 years of experience
In-depth skills using on PHP, MYSQL, POSTGRESQL, JAVA, PYTHON, JSON, mobile development.
Intermediate understanding system technology database, software flows, and hardware etc.
Intermediate understanding system project implementation process.
Intermediate understanding on FINTECH.
Intermediate understating on financial process including loans, risk, and underwriters.
In-depth skills using MS Application especially MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, MS PowerPoint.
Intermediate understanding of UAT, Manual, Quality Assurance, Mobile, Cross Browser Testing, Sprint Demo, Sprint Planning, Agile concepts.
Intermediate understanding of databases and applications such as but not limited to Java scripting, MS SQL, Oracle etc.
Intermediate understanding of SQL (standard-query-lang), scripting languages.
Intermediate ability to develop scripts for testing.
Project management experience
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines
Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
Expertise in computer programming
Team management skills
Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban
Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system
Strong attention to details. Keen to details.
Extensive experience in solutions delivery and architecture
Effective in presenting, negotiating and communicating with all levels of the organization.
A systematic and sound approach to planning and organization.
Problem-solve in complex situations
Amenable to work in a hybrid set-up
