FULL STACK DEVELOPER
We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Full Stack Developer is responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, tuning the network / infrastructure, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.
Our Full Stack Developer will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Developing front end website architecture.
Designing user interactions on web pages.
Developing back end website applications.
Creating servers and databases for functionality.
Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
Designing and developing APIs.
Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
Skills:
:
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber.
Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP and .Net.
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
At least 4 years of working experience in any related field is preferred
Familiarity with effective collaborative processes and techniques in a remote or primarily remote work environment - including CI/CD
At least two years of experience working with 'cloud-native' software and platforms, including Kubernetes
At least two years of experience developing software using a modern object-oriented programming language (Python, Go, C++, etc. .NET)
Knowledge of OpenStack is a major plus
Significant software development portfolio / prior work in a distributed systems / service-oriented-architecture paradigm. Knowledge of common design patterns in this field - including REST APIs, task queues, distributed locks, etc.
Willingness to take ownership of and responsibility for all stages of the software and infrastructure lifecycle
Practical knowledge of the various systems-administration tasks involved in running a scalable Linux-based datacenter
Experience in UI/UX design would be ideal
