We are currently seeking applicants (employees or contractors) for a Full-Stack Developer position. There are also tasks available in Software Engineering which may be offered to a suitable applicant.
The applicant should be familiar with
AWS web hosting / database systems Amplify, Lambda, EC2, Beanstalk/CodeStar, S3, DynamoDB, Cloud9 and Fargate etc.
Git and a continual deployment from branches
Python and Postman
APIs, how they work and experience building them.
You should know the basics of HTML/Javascript/CSS, Django and affiliated programs. As our current system uses Django hosted on EC2, having knowledge and experience would be advantageous.
Duties will be separated into two sections, upkeep and projects.
Upkeep will be maintaining current systems and new systems that are created.
Projects will be spec’ed collaboratively with yourself.
Initially the role will include:
Becoming familiar with our current systems
Building a Web application (Fargate or Amplify)
Connecting an already built Postman API to that web application
Modifying and writing scripts to modify data from the API and serve the website.
Allowing users to modify the database from the website.
