Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the successful design, development, implementation, and monitoring of database procedures and data transfers.
Work with a team of developers to support internal applications and backend processes for the global contact centers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer systems and information structures.
Design and implement complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures and packages against various production databases. Responsible for the maintenance and documentation of data structures.
Execute SQL queries against various production databases utilizing efficient data access methods and an in-depth understanding of the data structures being queried for decision support purposes.
Development and monitoring of data migration/transfer processes utilizing Python, API, flat file, and SFTP.
Maintenance, software installation, and monitoring of Linux servers
Skills:
Strong Linux knowledge and comfortable with the CLI
Experience working with relational databases. Oracle a plus
Experience in writing and debugging SQL stored procedures and queries
Proficient in Python
Prior experience working with APIs and integrations
Docker experience is preferred
PHP / Apache are a plus
Education:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent degree with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant SQL and scripting experience.
