MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and result-driven Frontend Engineer for one of our clients based in US. The company is a leader in the entertainment industry specializing in ticketing for live events.
The Frontend Engineer is responsible for developing scalable software system alongside a high-performing engineering team building products and services that power our company to sell the most tickets in the world.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Help scale our company as a word-class inventory manager of live event tickets
• Design and implement innovative engineering solutions in your area of ownership (Inventory Management)
• Develop deep domain expertise and represent your area of ownership (Inventory Management) when collaborating on business requirements, technical strategy, and tactical execution
To be successful, you should be:
• A degree holder in Information Technology, Engineering, or any related field.
• Deep understanding of AWS
• Has experience in React and have a sufficiently deep understanding of modern data engineering practices
• Other areas of expertise needed
o Redux
o ES6+
o HTML5
o CSS3
o TypeScript
o Node JS
o AWS S3
o Git
o Unit Test
o CI/CD for frontend
• Strong written communication skills - both short-form (Slack/Email) as well as long-form (product guides, design documents, etc)
• Working with users of your products; always eager to learn more about their problems
• You are a seeker - you are always looking for way to improve yourself
• You enjoy troubleshooting problems for anyone!
• Highly Desirable:
o Skilled at using Datadog for application and infrastructure monitoring
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
