The Front Office Associate serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position is responsible for welcoming guests, performing check-in and check-out procedures, handling guest inquiries and requests, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet all guest with a warm and friendly attitude upon arrival and departure
Perform accurate check in, check out, and reservation procedures using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS)
Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely and in compliance with hotel policies
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and transportation options
Respond to guest concerns, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating to supervisor when needed
Maintain clear and professional communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments when meeting guests needs
Ensure that the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Assist in after shift audits or other administrative tasks required
Help establish all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and confidentiality
Ensure proper filing and organization of both digital and physical files
QUALIFICATIONS
College graduate of HRM, Tourism, Communications, or other related fields
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality, is preferred
Proficiency in using hotel management softwares is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail
Willing to work on flexible schedules
Professional appearance and demeanor
Knowledge in basic payment transactions and administrative tasks
