Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create digital interfaces via HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery and other JavaScript frameworks)
• Take a proactive approach to finding and recommending technical solutions to address customer and/or business problems
• Collaborate and communicate closely with team members for effective digital delivery
• Contribute to the front end technical strategy to support the wider organisation's objectives
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Software Developer
• Solid experience in Commercial Web Development using JavaScript
• Advanced knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery)
• Exposure to and use of modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue or React) favourable and designed for large-scale CMS (.NET-based preferable)
• Proven usage of Git and CI/CD workflows
• Strong and good understanding of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and applying them to web interfaces, SEO compliant mark-up and best practices, developing browser-compliant code for responsive web designs
• Understanding of task runners and bundlers (e.g. Grunt, Gulp, Webpack)
• Past experience working collaboratively in cross functional Agile teams
• Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• High attention to detail
• Proactive and excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
