We’re hiring for a Front-End Web Developer to join our fantastic team! This is for a DAYSHIFT Australian account - Saturdays and Sundays off.
We’re looking for a dependable Front-End Web Developer to develop website pages from a design and make the website responsive on any device. Someone with experience in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery would make an excellent candidate for the role.
Responsibilities:
Develop website pages from given designs
Identify and diagnose errors in the scripting as well as the front-end bugs
Convert the website page to be responsive on different devices
Build reusable codes and libraries for future use
Optimize the website for maximum speed and scalability
Help implement security and data protection
Program web application codes, content, and page links
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
At least two years’ experience in designing and developing websites and/or applications in WordPress
Knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
Knowledge in domain, hosting, and SSL management
Preferably someone with experience in Adobe Photoshop
Well rounded front-end development skills
Able to create responsive design, development, and mobile content strategies
Able to ensure website usability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility through testing
Ability to take charge of solving difficult problems from conception to completion
Willing to be trained in different aspects required for the role
Organized and keen to details
Possesses average verbal and written English communication skills
