The Opportunity
The Lead Writer will work with our in-house writers to further develop story concepts into scripts and immersive micro-stories.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with our creative team to understand story concepts and objectives.
Transform complex narratives into concise, engaging scripts that shine on TikTok and YouTube.
Infuse each script with an authentic voice, creating an emotional connection with viewers in a matter of seconds.
Experiment with diverse storytelling techniques, adapting to evolving trends and platform-specific formats.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of writers, ensuring a cohesive and consistent tone across all scripts.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas and innovative approaches.
Embrace feedback and iterate on scripts to achieve perfection in brevity.
Stay ahead of platform trends and algorithm changes to optimize content performance.
We'd like it if you Are/Have:
Proven experience as a creative writer, ideally in short-form content, social media, or digital media.
A knack for translating intricate narratives into succinct and impactful scripts.
Strong understanding of TikTok and YouTube, including content trends, audience behavior, and platform requirements.
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills - Collaboration is the heartbeat of our creative process.
Openness to experimentation and the ability to think outside the box.
A portfolio showcasing your ability to craft engaging short-form narratives (links to TikTok, YouTube, or similar platforms are a plus).
