Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Brisbane, QLD Time or 7:00 am to 3:00 pm PH Time
Salary: Php 50,000.00 - Php 90,000.00

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A FORMWORK CONCRETE ESTIMATOR
Your Responsibilities as Formwork Concrete Estimator would be:
Establish and provide accurate cost expectations/estimates and project specifications to help the client, contractors, and project managers to make informed decisions. This includes estimating the quantity and cost of materials needed for concrete construction projects.
Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors as needed to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.
Create detailed documentation of the estimates, including breakdowns of costs, quantities, and any assumptions made during the estimation process.
Be involved in project planning, budgeting, and decision-making by reviewing project plans and specifications to interpret and determine scope of work and required contents of estimates.
Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, labor rates, and other factors that could impact the accuracy of their estimates.
Assess potential risks and uncertainties that could affect project costs, such as changes in design, scope, or unexpected site conditions.
Suggest alternative materials or construction methods that could potentially reduce costs while maintaining project quality and integrity.
Assess and prepare estimates for installations and repairs for temporary frameworks that support the building process during construction.
Establish and maintain tender process.
Draw bids for work as required.
Keep a detailed record and write reports as required.
Analyze and evaluate offers/quotations.
Qualifications as Formwork Concrete Estimator:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Must have Estimator experience as well as knowledge in building and construction.
Excellent Communication skills.
Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft tools such as Excel.
Strong understanding of formwork, concrete construction, and related construction operations.
Strong math skills to develop accurate quantity take-offs and material volumes.
Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings and project specifications.
Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at once.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail
