A Forklift Operator is a professional who is responsible for moving goods around warehouses or other industrial sites. They do this by using a forklift to unload deliveries from trucks and stack boxes for storage purposes throughout a warehouse and other industrial property. 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
Operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. 
Loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles. 
Moving materials to and from storage areas. 
Inspecting and maintaining forklifts and other equipment. 
Following safety protocols and procedures. 
Keeping accurate records of materials moved. 
Sorting, packing, wrapping, tying and labeling products as per company procedures. 
Weighing products and recording weight and other data in product labels. 
Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory. 
Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs. 
Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
