FORKLIFT OPERATOR
 
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as forklift operator or similar role
Attention to detail
Good knowledge of industrial equipment
Very good physical condition
Excellent coordination
Valid certification to operate forklifts
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
With 1,2,3 or 1,2,3,8 Driver's License
Brief Duties:
Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
Responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad
cars or trucks or storage facilities.
Transport materials to designated warehouses.
Assist in keeping a safe environment and Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.
Maneuvering forklifts safely in busy industrial environment.
Safely stacking and un stacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport to different warehouses.
Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas.
Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions.
Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages.
Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods.
