Job Description
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pipefitters, welders, and other crew members on-site.
Ensure all piping work aligns with project drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
Collaborate with the Superintendent and other foremen to plan and schedule tasks to meet project deadlines.
Monitor and enforce safety standards and protocols, maintaining a secure work environment.
Conduct material inspections and quality checks on completed work, ensuring compliance with project standards
Address workflow issues or obstacles and implement solutions to maintain productivity.
Keep accurate records of work progress, material use, and crew attendance, reporting to the Superintendent.
Train and mentor crew members to enhance their skills and promote a productive work environment.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Education: Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 5+ years as a Piping Foreman in the Oil & Gas industry, with overseas project experience.
In-depth knowledge of piping systems, materials, and construction techniques for oil and gas projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills, effectively guiding crew members.
Understanding of safety standards and practices on construction sites.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, isometrics, and piping layouts.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with various on-site teams.
