Description
Responsibilities:
Able to execute and supervise the road work for cutting and trenching works among team of operators and laborers
Prepares schedules, assigns operators to respective shifts and arranges schedules to achieve maximum productivity
Able to do day-to-day coordination with Project Manager and site management for timely completion of the job as per project schedule.
Ensures and provides instruction or training in cutting of roadway, machine operation, and use of tools and equipment.
Oversees routine maintenance and servicing of company equipment and machinery
Assists in the planning and coordination of the construction and maintenance activities for cutting and trenching works
Organizes materials, plans sequencing of work orders and assigns tasks to crews.
Oversees adherence to traffic control signage, device placement and safety regulations.
Coordinates and delivers materials, supplies and equipment to work sites.
Inspects work performed.
Maintains time sheets, work order forms, vehicle maintenance records and accident reports; provides relevant information for the preparation of reports and required documentation per project
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in road works or road construction
Knowledgeable in handling, troubleshooting and operating tractor type equipment, micro trenching machine and the like
Knowledgeable in all around construction works
With valid driver's license is a plus
