LEVEL: Technical Officer
REPORTS TO: General Manager/ President
 
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Food Chemistry, Food Science or related field
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques
Preferably, with experience in product development or food manufacturing
Familiarity with sensory evaluation techniques
Knowledge of sustainable and innovative food technologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct chemical analyses to determine the nutritional content, flavor profiles and safety of food products
Develop and improve food formulations, including creating new products and enhancing existing ones
Research and implement methods to extend shelf life and improve food preservation techniques
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
Investigate and resolve issues related to food quality, safety or production processes
Collaborate with other functional teams, including product development, quality assurance and marketing
Performs any other tasks that maybe given, from time to time.
