Del Monte Philippines, Inc. is in need of:
FOOD ANALYST-PINE/MIXED FRUIT
Responsibilities:
Reports to work before the time scheduled by his/her supervisor/manager.
Complies with SOP’s related to GMP, Safety, HACCP, Quality and to Departmental/Company Rules and Regulations.
Conducts necessary clean-up and maintains good housekeeping of the work area.
Checks condition and calibrates apparatus/equipment prior to use, maintains proper care during use, and reports to supervisor any exception(s) noted.
Checks that reagents and lab wares are ready for use.
Ensures that documents and reports to be used during monitoring are available, completely filled-out, signed, and submitted to QA Section Head for his/her review.
Checks correctness and completeness of samples received against ROSC.
Conducts laboratory analyses of finished pineapple and tropical products.
Submits samples for stained smear test to Food Analyst – Microbiology.
Conducts rechecking of duplicate samples if deviations are noted during analyses.
Displays lab samples for product grading by QA laboratory supervisor.
Submits reviewed reports to QA supervisor / Senior Food Analyst for disposition and grading.
Performs other tasks at the discretion of his/her supervisor/manager.
Qualifications:
Graduates of BS Chemistry, BS Food Technology and any related fields of discipline
Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician
At least 6 months work related experience
