We are seeking an experienced and strategic Fleet and Operations Head to lead and manage the organizations fleet and daily operations. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to drive efficiency and compliance across all transport and logistics activities.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Management
Oversee acquisition, disposal, and lifecycle management of vehicles.
Implement preventive maintenance and repair programs.
Manage fuel consumption, efficiency tracking, and fuel-saving strategies.
Ensure vehicles are insured, licensed, and compliant with regulations.
Operations Management
Hire, train, and evaluate drivers; ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Develop and optimize routes to reduce travel time and fuel use.
Manage dispatch, scheduling, and timely execution of tasks.
Ensure compliance with company policies, government standards, and safety regulations.
Budgeting and Cost Control
Prepare, monitor, and manage fleet and operations budgets.
Identify cost-saving measures and negotiate with suppliers/vendors.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track KPIs including fuel efficiency, downtime, and accident rates.
Generate regular operational and financial performance reports.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
Proven experience (8+ years) in fleet management, logistics, or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, compliance, and safety management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in fleet management systems and MS Office tools.
