Description
1. Placing an unconscious casualty into the recovery position
2. Performing Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
3. Using an automated external defibrillator (AED)
4. Stopping bleeding using pressure and elevation
5. Keeping a fractured limb still Manage the incident and ensure the continuing safety of themselves, bystanders and the casualty
6. Assess casualties and find out the nature & cause of their injuries
7. Arrange for further medical help or other emergency services to attend (e.g: the fire service)
8. Prioritize casualties based upon medical need
9. Provide appropriate first aid treatment as trained If able, make notes/observations of casualties
10. Fill out any paperwork as required
11. Provide a handover when further medical help arrives QUALIFICATIONS:
12. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Nursing or equivalent. At least 2 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
13. Preferably less than 1 year experience specialized in Healthcare-Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
14. Valid Certificate for Red Cross Training or Seminars
15. Provides sites visits to conduct and check safety and health audits
16. Assist the HSSE Manager on the documentation pertaining to OHS as required by DOLE.
17. Provide regular health awareness and training to all personnel.
18. Coordinates all health and safety training programs for the employees
19. Conducts health and safety inspection as member of the committee
20. Maintains or helps in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes
21. Provides assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs
