Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with higher certification in fire protection & loss control. A masters degree is a plus
Minimum of 10-years experience in fire protection engineering
Professional certification or licenses would be advantageous (such as Professional Engineer, Certified safety professional, certified fire protection specialist).
Expertise in Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessment
Possesses a high level of expertise, experience, and judgment to influence current and future company fire protection engineering plans, fire & safety engineering and technical standards, specifications, and design practices.
Knowledge of risk analysis, process safety management, major incidents investigation and safety audits.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop and draft an over-all Fire Protection System programs.
Develop and implement strategic and tactical strategies to minimize risk and property loss due to fire hazards.
Develop and Create a Fire Protection Handbook/Manual
Conduct Audit of all incoming properties for Operational Readiness (OPR)
Conduct random facility audit to assess that the company are implementing fire protection system standards
Provide technical support/assists in resolving fire protection issues and emergencies in operations
Develop meaningful relationship with fire protection industry professionals, regulators and fire protection enforcement agencies (I,e DILG, BFP, OBO)
