Bring your career aspirations to life with AIA!This position is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of relevant, accurate and quality financial reporting/ data with quality analysis to address the requirements of various stakeholders in compliance with professional standards, AIA Group reporting policy and statutory and regulatory requirements for both PAL, BPLAC and other entities.
Support the monthly and quarterly FS close activities, coordinating with various key offices (e.g. Actuarial, Treasury, GAO, Corp Sol, etc.), as necessary and prepares IFRS schedules/templates and BS reconciliation schedules as assigned
Ensures appropriate internal controls over PhilamLife's Audit and Annual Statement's reporting processes and evaluate significant accounting issues and implement Statutory Reporting policy setting based on guidelines set by Regulators
Supports Strategic Planning and Budgeting processes and activities including handling of Consolidation adjustments for PHGroup and analysis of PELAC and other Real Estate Companies
Supports in the preparation of Annual Statements, Statistical Reports, Financial Reporting Framework and Risk Based capital reports and Other Financial Corporations survey including analysis to be submitted to Insurance Commission and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/ or other requirements

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education -Must possess Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree
Experience -At least seven(7) years audit experience with any of the big 4 audit firms (Navarro Amper & Co., Isla Lipana & Co., Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co. and Manabat SanAgustin & Co) orexperience in financial reporting/budgeting/financial analysis with any of the top 10 life insurance companies in the Philippines
Certifications/licenses -Certified Public Accountant.Special skills
Significant analytical skillset, has knowledge and experience in IFRS/ PFRS
Proficient in MS Office applications
Has advanced knowledge in SAP, Business Intelligence
with good command in English (both oral and written)
