About the Job: ZigZag is on the lookout for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst! Think you're the one they're looking for Job Summary: The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial data to assist the company in making well-informed decisions. The successful candidate will also collaborate with other departments to understand their budgeting and finance needs. What You'll Do: Prepare budgeting and forecasting reports. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews. Work closely with the general accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures. Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards. What They Need: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role or the accounting field At least 2 years of experience as an FP&A Analyst is required Proficiency in Google Workspace, and Microsoft, with exceptional skills in GoogleSheets or Excel. Strong analytical and data-gathering skills. Good understanding of financial analysis and forecasting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity. Ability to execute and follow through to completion and documentation. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Master's degree in Finance. Professional certification like CMA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
