Position Title: Financial Education and Communications Officer
Job Summary :
The jobholder will be responsible in driving financial education campaigns while assisting in corporate communications and PR tasks :
Drive Financial Education Programs & Content:
Create and enforce strategies for financial education comms platforms
Write / editorialize articles / scripts / content for fin ed.
Coordinate with writers, agencies, production houses, media / creative agencies etc. to produce and launch initiatives
Manage coordination / socialization and approval of financial education plans with internal stakeholders (ie. rroduct/program managers upper management)
Monitor performance of fin ed comms platforms - digital metrics, branding metrics, PR values etc.
Corporate Communication Tasks:
Checking / writing correspondences to internal and external stakeholders
Author the annual report for the Consumer Banking Sector (CBS)
Manage content plan and material creation for internal Workplace (Facebook in the workplace) groups.
Cascade internal announcements, reminders, and guidelines to ensure marketing/brand compliance (ie. Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas (BS) Mandatories, social media / 1:1 message guides, email signatures and footers, proper branding/logo use).
Public Relations & Amplification:
Lead in the PR and amplification of fin ed projects
Assist the Consumer Business Sector - Public Relations, Engagement & Corporate Communications (PRECC) Lead in PR projects.
Job Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from a college/university preferably a graduate of business, marketing or communications
Experience in financial services, banking, telco, fintech, retail or tech a plus.
Should have both in-house and agency experience
Hands on experience managing communications in a highly regulated market.
Collective 5 years experience on financial education / financial writing, public relations and corporate communications
Experience in project management with various partners
Experience engaging press / reporters, a plus

Ability to communicate information effectively and accurately, verbally or in writing across multiple disciplines. Can synthesize large amounts of data and distill key points clearly, succinctly and quickly.
OUTSTANDING WRITER, has a digital-first mindset
Expertise developing corporate communications plans aligning internal, external and stakeholder communications against business priorities
Has understanding of how to use data and research to drive efforts.
Skilled at using social media, digital content creation to advance business priorities and amplify the corporate narrative
Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative.
Self-starter. Able to work independently as needed.
Capable of achieving results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often on short deadlines. Attention to detail is critical
