Job Functions:
• Provides management with the status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting,
and reporting financial data.
• Prepares and analyzes financial plans and projections through coordination with all functional
departments in putting together respective goals and plans to achieve targets.
• Manage and direct the preparation of expense budgets.
• Monitors achievement of budget objectives through variance analysis and initiating corrective actions.
• Prevents company losses by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Spearheads initiatives to manage cost and expenses.
• Lead or participate in strategic initiatives and projects especially those that will require Finance or
Accounting technical knowhow.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Initiate enhancements in financial and accounting processes for improved operational efficiencies.
• Manage and comply with regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop, document and enhance business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal
controls.
• Guides management in financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and
procedures.
• Oversee the compliance with audit requirements.
• Keep abreast with developments on new accounting standards that will impact company financial
reporting and projections.
• Inspire, mentor and motivate team members by leading the different teams , encouraging
communication within the department, setting individual targets and measuring performance, enforcing
training plans, supporting creativity and thought leadership, and growing/retaining top talents.
• Build effective relationship with the business units being supported.
Job Requirements:
• University graduate with a degree in Accountancy or Business courses major in Accounting.
• At least ten years of Managerial experience in Accounting, Finance administration or Controllership.
• With experiences in Auditing, Investments Accounting, and Tax Accounting
• With Certified Public Accountant License.
• With experience in Insurance industry.
