Job brief
You will be responsible for all accounting, financial and payroll related issues, including but not limited to statutory and management reporting requirements, audit and control. You are to ensure that timely and accurate reporting of all financial information within the Club to assist in effectively achieving performance objectives.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the President, Finance and Audit Sub-Committees on the performance and strategic direction of the respective departments
Handle all financial and accounting functions of the Club
Formulate and ensure compliance of all financial and internal control policies and procedures
Evaluate and streamline financial processes and workflows to enhance and improve the efficiency of the finance operation.
Assist the General Manager in compiling annual budget and business plans
Responsible for Purchasing function to ensure the Club secures the best, competitive prices on behalf of the Club
Responsible for staff payroll function
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA certification or its equivalent
At least 8 years' relevant experience with exposure to hotels/hospitality environment
Experienced and conversant with financial accounting
Possess such skill sets like strong management accounting and data analytical skills which the Club is looking for.
Must be familiar with accounting laws, regulations and generally accepted accounting principles for Singapore
A detailed and meticulous individual
Good communication skills and ability to present financial numbers concisely
Good working knowledge of MS Office and finance-related applications
