Job Summary:
The Financial Budgeting Analyst interprets and applies functional principles and policies in implementing major processes in financial budgeting by crafting and managing Meralco's annual budget and 5-year consolidated financial plan.
Formulates financial models for use in forecasting Meralco's consolidated financial statements.
Reviews, validates, and revises budget guidelines and procedures in coordination with defined control centers and resource planner to ensure consistency.
Reviews and evaluates cost-benefit analyses for proposed CAPEX budget.
Processes requests for authority to proceed with unplanned projects.
Monitors and analyzes actual performance versus previous year and budget.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Accountancy and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Preferably has 2-3 years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting
Should pass the Meralco analyst test
Proficiency in MS Office
Good business communication skills
