Job Description
Synct is looking for a Financial Analyst who is responsible for working with internal stakeholders to provide performance insights, analysis, and recommendations to the business to support decision-making and drive the positive financial direction of the company. This role will suit a data-obsessed and curious finance professional with strong analytical skills who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
Reconciles transaction by comparing and correcting data.
Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data.
Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis.
Creates financial models that forecast the company's income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
Create and maintain three-way forecasts that include income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Analyze cash flow data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Create reports that analyze business trends and provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the company.
Conduct financial analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities for the company.
Develop and implement financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Maintain accurate financial records and produce reports that meet regulatory standards.
Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a similar field
At least 2 years experience as an Australian Financial Analyst.
You are an excellent communicator able to give clear written and verbal communication to everyone.
You thrive on using your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to identify and solve issues before they arise.
You can work in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and prioritization skills and sense of urgency to address critical business issues.
You can see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.
