Functional Overview
The Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the company. They are responsible for analyzing financial statement and predicting the future performance of the company. This may include forecasting future revenues and expenditures, as well as modeling capital structure and budgeting. Duties and Responsibilities
Supports the department heads in preparing the annual budget. Provides them the budget and operational assumptions and templates for consolidation
Prepare and send monthly management report to department heads
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
Provide support of all investor relations activities
Provide monthly payroll analysis
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
Participate in the financial modeling and due diligence efforts related to the company's M&A activities
Provide pricing model for possible clients
Support the strategic business planning process
Prepares and generates ad-hoc reports needed and requested by the Management
Performs other functions as may be assigned by his/her superiors
Minimum Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good understanding with basic financial principles and can read financial statements
Must be able to work independently
Have a strong eye for details
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mathematics, Commerce or equivalent
At least 2 years related working experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
