The Financial Analyst will be responsible for completing the bank and suspense account reconciliations, supporting the monthly production, management and financial reporting and manage the revenue process for WAM Asia. The key part of the role is focused on deliverables related to the monthly close and financial reporting, primarily focusing on journal entries, account reconciliations and trend analysis.

We are looking for someone with:
Bachelor's degree concentrating in Accounting or Finance; CPA is an advantage
Prior experience in a Finance role preferred, Insurance/Investment experience an advantage
Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-performing, and collaborative team environment while managing multiple, constantly changing priorities and ad-hoc requests
Knowledge of general ledger reporting tools and systems
Extensive experience with MS Excel including working with Macros and other Excel add-ins
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently with less supervision
Excels in a team environment interacting with both business and IT colleagues
Experience in working as an offsite support to business functions
On the job you will:
Responsible for preparation of various bank and suspense reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of complete and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Responsible for the completion of relevant GWAM journal entries and associated intercompany account, revenue, accruals and prepayments.
Maintain control documentation and prepare audit requests related to internal and external audit requirements
Responsible for Asset Under Management (AUM) reporting and upload
Prepares monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) report
Responsible for Balance Sheet Reconciliation (CORE, IFRS, Local GAAP (LGAAP) Ledgers)
Responsible for developing monthly and quarterly income statement and balance sheet trend analysis reports used to complete the income and balance sheet fluctuation analysis
