Description
MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is currently looking for a Financial Analyst for one of our clients.
As the Financial Analyst, you are responsible for reporting to and directly supporting the Corporate Controller, based in New Hampshire. The Financial Analyst will have a proven ability to manage many stakeholders and build strong relationships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Assist with monthly financial reporting, conducting financial and variance analysis, and preparing PowerPoint presentations for multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain and create standard monthly financial reporting Excel workbooks to track trends and performance of expenses, cash flow, capex, balance sheet KPIs, and other critical metrics
• Provide analytical support for potential initiatives related to business development, operational improvement, and capital investments
• Provide support for annual global financial audit
• Participate in preparing board of director and other presentation materials and analysis
• Other ad-hoc items based upon the needs of the world-wide finance department
• Work with the Finance and Accounting organization to continuously improve financial analysis and reporting
• Participate in process improvement initiatives around financial reporting
To be qualified, you should be:
• BS/BA in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related fields of study
• Thorough understanding of accounting, forecasting and analysis skills, including working knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• 3-5 years of experience with emphasis in financial analysis
• Experience with Oracle ERP system
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint required, advanced user of MS Excel required
• Experience with multi-national company and understanding of global consolidations
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment and interacting with multiple departments
• Be able to identify and help drive opportunities that improve internal control, process and efficiency
• Possess a high level of integrity, curiosity, strong discipline, and a high degree of accuracy
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and a proven ability to establish positive relationships with management, peers and employees
• Comfortable working in a growing and ever-changing organization
• Self-starter and fast learner with proven ability to work independently
