We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant that is willing to take an exciting opportunity to work in a crucial role in growing a company. This position will report to the CEO and will manage the full set of accounts for eight (8) micro-companies in Australia, UK, North America and Seychelles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure all accounting entries and reconciliations are completed for month end close;
Process and review supplier invoices and ensure they are accurate, complete & timely processed;
Process and review customer invoices and ensure they are accurately processed against the contracts;
Process and analyse operational activity relating to intercompany transactions;
Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are complete and accurate;
Prepare and present profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow statements;
Maintain local statutory & tax reporting in compliance with standards; and
Identify and execute finance process improvements and contribute to improvements in operational process.
Requirements
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or similar fields;
Certified Public Accountant is preferable but not a pre-requisite;
At least 3+ years of working experience in the related field;
Strong attention to details and good analytical skills;
Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills;
Have a big appetite for learning new concepts and adaptability to technologies;
Able to work efficiently with minimum supervision;
Flexible to assume wide variety of tasks;
High-level of proficiency in using cloud-based accounting software similar to QuickBooks or Xero.
