Our client is a leading Japanese listed MNC in the manufacturing industry with global revenue of over 20 billion. With a well established global presence, they are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join their finance team overseeing the ASEAN region.
about the job
Reporting to the Finance Team Lead, you will be taking care of the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions including monthly closing and reporting. You will be responsible for the accounting of the ASEAN region and will be liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders for tax, audit and risk purposes. You will also be involved in J-SOX reporting and continuous improvement projects to increase efficiencies.
skills and experience required
You should ideally possess a degree in accountancy with at least 3 years of working experience in the accounting and finance function in a dynamic MNC and/or in an audit firm. Strong knowledge in the full spectrum of accounting function and reporting is ideal. Hands on exposure in using SAP is preferred. Excellent communication skills to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders.
