Who are we looking for?
Air Accounting is always looking to add members to our fast growing team of dynamic, intelligent and caring people. We are looking for a Financial Accountant who will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording and management of Air Groups internal financial operations. The role is great for someone looking to develop into a financial controller as the business grows quickly.
What does your day to day look like?
Completion of bank reconciliations and accounts payable processes for Air Group entities;
Oversee connectivity of our finance tech-stack;
Prepare and analyse financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, key metrics and cash flow statements;
Work with our finance analyst to produce robust and timely Power BI reporting for the senior leadership team (no experience with Power BI necessary);
Develop financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure timely and accurate reporting;
Play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with the Directors and department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives;
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership team based on comprehensive analysis and interpretation of financial data;
Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and best practices in finance and accounting;
Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.
What you will need to succeed?
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Advanced knowledge of Xero
Experience with other finance apps highly regarded (Paytron, Dext, Airwallex, Ignition, Weel)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot variances within a table of numbers
