Responsible in performing outwards reinsurance functions including processing of technical entries for reinsurance collections, premiums and adjustments, and updating of reinsurance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Process technical entries for reinsurance premiums and collections onto the system
Conducts peer review on reinsurance policies entered onto company's reinsurance system
Prepares monthly schedules and ensure timely settlement of EO reinsurance premiums and collections to Equator Re
Updates monthly EO Multinational Servicing Office spreadsheet, process multinational policies and premium onto the systems, and settle premium due where applicable
Raise payment requests through PAS system for premiums or intercompany payments related to outwards reinsurance
Raise Non-Cash LORS (NCL) for Syndicate settlements made or received
Reviews reinsurance contracts quarterly/annually and calculate provisions for policies that are subject to profit commissions, no claims bonus and premium adjustments
Prepares monthly and/or quarterly statements for EO Quota Shares accounts, liaise with brokers for timely settlement of amount due
Prepares monthly reinsurance reports for management information
Updates Group reinsurance reports such as Group Aggregate Risks (GAR), and Group Large Risk and Catastrophe (GLRC), prepares audit files for loses with large movements and ensure timely submission of group reports to RI Technical Team
Prepares quarterly and annual returns for terrorism covers such as Pool Re, GAREAT and ARPC, ensures completeness of policies declared and timely payment of premium due
