Purpose of the Position The Finance Officer reports to the Finance and Systems Manager (FSM). He/She is responsible for various financial and accounting tasks and managing accounting records of the company. He/She must understand the complexity of finance and accounting and is comfortable working with details. Key Responsibilities Financial reporting Performs administrative tasks such as filing of financial documents and data entry in the system. Assists the FSM with the day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Finance Department, including budget review and analysis. Assists the FSM with the preparation of financial statements and reports. Performs bank reconciliation and inventory counts Analyze and prepare reports for government requirements. -VAT reports -Documentary Stamp Tax -Other applicable tax reports -SEC and other compliance reports Control Conducts pre-audit on disbursement vouchers, travel expenses reports, and all supporting documents for all payments related to the activities of FLIDI. Other tasks Manage petty cash Process requisition and other business forms Keeping records and documenting the financial process Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting, or a related field 2. With knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes 3. With high attention to detail 4. With high collaboration and communication skills 5. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills 6. Knowledge of legal requirements and regulatory reporting for Lending Institutions Work Arrangement: Onsite Willing to be assigned to our Head Office in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
