Job Description:
Reporting
Responsible for the full sets of financial accounts.
Ensure strict adherence to cut-offs and deadlines of month-end and year-end financial closing.
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements.
Provide monthly and annual financial statements and any other reports that may be required by management.
Accomplishment and submission of reports, forms, records etc. as required by regulatory authorities
Asset Management
Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and credit control
Act as the fixed asset custodian and ensure that fixed assets are safeguarded and accounted properly
Intercompany Reconciliation
Performs monthly intercompany reconciliation (ICR) with affiliates
Communicate with counterpart to resolve differences.
Tax Compliance and External Audit
Ensure timely filings of tax returns and tax payments as required.
Review tax computation to avoid disallowance or tax discrepancies, and reduce tax exposure of the Company.
Facilitate & support the tax audit and statutory financial audit.
Others
Manage payment requests and staff claims
Liaise with external parties such as auditors, accounting firm, tax agents, bankers and relevant authorities
Assist in cash flow projection, forecasting and budgeting exercise
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Competencies
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus.
With at least ten (10) years of working experience in finance and accounting acquired from manufacturing industry
Proficient in Microsoft office application (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and ERP environment
Strong background in bookkeeping, accounting principles, accounting procedures, and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to build and guide a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under minimal guidance/supervision and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Willing to work onsite in Mabalacat, Pampanga
