Reporting to and with authority from: Office of the President Qualifications:
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
With At least 5 years' experience as a Finance Manager
Summary of Function:
The Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Manager is responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, and other related duties as assigned. The Manager works closely and reports directly to the President of the company.
Key Results Area/Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Works closely and reports directly to the President of the company.
2. Manages and oversees the day-to-day accounting functions of the company.
3. Monitors and records transactions and financial events in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policy.
4. Maintains the accurate and timely processing of general ledger and journal entries.
5. Ensures accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting in a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
6. Collaborates with different departments to resolve problems and achieve company's objectives and goals.
7. Responds to inquiries regarding disbursements and reimbursements of other departments.
8. Processes disbursement of payroll and payroll taxes of the company.
9. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payout of distributors.
10. Ensures accurate and timely processing of suppliers' payments and check request.
11. Manages and oversees all tax related duties which includes computation, payment, reconciliation, and timely reports submission to BIR.
12. Ensures the company meets all its statutory and compliance obligations to SEC, PHIC, SSS, HDMF and other government bodies.
13. Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources.
14. Manages the accounting team to ensure that tasks are properly delegated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
15. Always maintain and keep sensitive information of the company confidential.
16. Performs all other tasks and projects as may be assigned by the President.
