About The Role
Role Location: Solaris One Building, Makati
Role Type: Permanent

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Retail Consumer Cards, Rewards and Personal Loans business under Australia Retail and Commercial in the Manila Service Centre.
For Consumer Cards, you will support onshore in delivering accurate and timely financial information through production of accurate reporting, including the investigation and timely resolution of issues. You should also be able to adequately manage multiple deliverables (i.e.: month-end close, monthly and quarterly regulatory and supplementary reporting) as well as the management and timely completion of balance sheet reconciliation.
As the POC for Consumer Cards and with oversight on Rewards and Personal Loans business unit, you would also be responsible in driving collaborative efforts in elimination, simplification and automation of tasks and processes as needed.
Lastly, you will help manage the monthly financial close process ensuring appropriate controls and governance activities are in place to support the integrity of the financials.
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you should be:
Extensive years of professional experience in Finance Control roles with proven experience in Banking or Financial services industry
Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA or equivalent is preferred
Extensive experience with statutory and regulatory accounting within a banking / insurance environment
Business acumen coupled with financial prudence and customer focus
Ability to multi-task effectively and drive performance in a complex environment
Strong people management and interpersonal skills and experience working with onshore and third party teams
Strong interest in data analytics and exploring emerging technologies i.e. Alteryx, Qlik, SQL and Power Pivot to name a few
