OB SUMMARY: Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, and accounting. Required Experience EDUCATION:
Graduate of BS Accountancy or any
business related course with an Accounting background.
Certified Public Accountant is an
advantage. EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two (2) years work
experience. SKILLS:
Strong general financial accounting and
reporting skills.
Highly proficient with Microsoft
Applications.
Strong leadership and a team player.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem
solving
skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Undertaking research into pricing, cempetitors and factors affecting performance. 2. Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
3. Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements. 4. Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to interest rates on the company's borrowing, as well as its foreign exchange positions. 5. Maintain banking relationships.
6. Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances. 7. Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction. 8. Review the performance of the competitors and report on key issues to management.
9. Interpret the company's financial results to manangement and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company output. 10. Participate in target costing activities to create products that meeting predetermined price goals. 11. Assist in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitor pricing.
12. Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management. 13. Oversee the extension of credit to cutomers. 14. Implement the QMS as defined by the manual and related procedures.
15. Obtain and communicate customer requirements to the appropriate personnel or functional organization. 16. Ensure that qualified personnel and other resources are available to implement the QMS. 17. Ensure that products/services satisfy customer requirements including quality, safety, cost, schedule and performance.
18. Ensure that personnel comply with applicable laws, regulations, specifications, standards and documented procedures. 19. Always ensure the quality of work. 20. Suggest methods to improve work processes.
21. Ensure safe working environment. 22. Perform 5s in th work area. 23. Supports Company Mission, Vision and Goals.
24. Report to work daily and promptly.
