This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance operations while working closely with experienced professionals.We're seeking individuals who are eager to learn, pay strong attention to detail, meet deadlines, communicate proactively, and are committed to developing their skills for long-term growth.Key Responsibilities:
Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts in Xero, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and processed promptly
Record Management: Help organise and maintain financial documents, records, and databases
Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into spreadsheets, databases, and accounting systems; assist in generating financial reports
Quality Check: Verify data accuracy by cross-checking against source documents and correcting discrepancies when found
Error Identification: Proactively identify and correct any inconsistencies, duplicates, or mistakes in financial records
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance team to address basic finance-related tasks and support day-to-day operations
Key Skills & Qualities:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or currently completing final year)
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
Familiar with using the XERO accounting system
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willingness to undergo and pass background check as a condition of employment (a consent form will be provided to shortlisted candidates)
