Job summary
A key leader of the finance team, reporting to the Country CFO, managing treasury and finance team of the Finance Shared Services Center for Philippines.
Graduate of Accounting or Finance. CPA license is a plus.
At least 10 years' experience as Accounting Manager, with more than 5 years in a senior/director role
Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of accounting software such as ERPs (SAP),
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices in Philippines, standards, taxes and regulations, knowledge of IFRS
Administration Cost and Finance team player
Ability to formalize procedures and working notes
Good time management skills; aility to stick to time constraints
Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus
Responsibilities
Responsible for tracking, monitoring and evaluating day‐to‐day accounting tasks and activities
Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy for each entity
Ensure implementation of internal procedures, in compliance with the Construction Group reporting requirements and international accounting standards
Advise management on tax strategies for different entities of the Shared Services Center and make sure that taxation requirements are adhered to; assimilate and inform on upcoming tax regulations implementations and amendments.
Establish financial status by developing and implementing local processes for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.
Produce financial reports and statements, yearly, quarterly and monthly including account payables, receivables, investments, treasury
Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
Manage and take responsibility for accounts payable, receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, cash forecasting, revenue, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity
Oversee and manage annual financial audits as well as BIR audits
Be the main point of contact in Philippines for head offices accounting team and maintain regular contact to facilitate overall understanding of Filipinos entities financials
Meet financial accounting objectives and KPI given by country CFO
