The Cost Control Manager will play an important role in monitoring and managing the financial aspects of the company. The person shall focus on tracking, analyzing, and optimizing costs to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and management of budgets providing insights to ensure spending aligns with financial goals.
Continuously monitor and track costs across all units or projects within the department.
Analyzes budget vs actual cost, identifying and explaining variances and proposing corrective action.
Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality or efficiency m and work with concerned departments to implement cost-saving measures.
Oversees inventory management, ensuring accuracy minimizing waste, and optimizing stock levels to control cost.
Ensures compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards, as well as adherence to internal financial policies.
Assist in financial forecasting projecting future costs and trends to support financial processes and procedures, and streamlining cost control efforts.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in cost control, financial analysis, or related roles.
Proficiency in financial software tools.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Very good attention to detail and ability to work with complex data
Familiar with industry-specific cost control on food practices.
Very good experience working as a Cost Controller in the food or hospitality industry, an advantage.
