Responsibilities
Directly reporting as Cost Controller and Business Partner to the SBU Head of Warehouse & Logistics. Functionally reporting to the PSD Division CFO on the Financial & Cost Analysis, Management Reporting, Accounting Operations and Budget & Forecasting requirements
Leads and performs the month-end closing activities for PSD Warehouse & Logistics operations (covering FG and Parts) and ensures that all operating expense accounts, outbound and inbound costs and related balance sheet accounts are properly analyzed and accounted for (actual vs forecast, plan, prior year).
Develops inventory aging analysis reports and provides the necessary improvement on the inventory process and controls on transactions ie delivery, stock movements, chargeback, returns and scrap disposal.
Ensures compliance to PSD Table of Authority Matrix and provides escalation to the Division CFO for approval on non-standard requirements.
Drives overall closure of audit issues with corresponding actions to address audit findings by providing preventive and corrective solutions.
Creates and updates the required finance policies and procedures subject for review and approval by the Division CFO.
Drives End- to- End Process improvements and projects related to PSD overall strategic programs on Digitalization ( incl Dashboards, SAP, WMS LIMA), FP& A , Cost Accounting and Warehouse & Logistics operations.
Leads the Inventory count activities during Cycle count and Four wall count and ensures that inventory reconciliation variances including risks are addressed with the necessary action plans and required process controls.
Prepares and submits the budget and forecasting requirements to CIC.
Prepares the monthly financial results for presentation to Management during monthly, quarterly business reviews and finance operations reviews.
Ensures regular update of finance reports readily viewable in dashboard reports using one source of data.
Monitors operational metrics ensuring 100% achievement and recommend improvements relating to operational efficiency and effectiveness. Ensures closure of identified issues and creates the required mistake proof solutions to prevent business risks.
Ensures compliance with other Legal Entity & PSD requirements (i.e, Audits, Taxation, CIC reporting)
Acts as a team lead in supporting and implementing strategic and cost saving initiative projects eliminating bad costs, change management and preparation for future business growth.
Requirements
Education. B.S Accountancy or Management Accounting. Cost Accounting Management and Analyses
Inventory Management and Analyses, BU Reportorial requirements, Financial Controls
Training and Certification. SAP FI/CO - Proficient in cost accounting, management accounting services, analysis and financial controls
Experience. With extensive experience in Financial Accounting and Budgets and Forecasting. With exposure in Warehouse and Logistics, Reporting requirements & Financial Modelling, Financial & Cost analysis for logistics related to 3rd party providers including freight forwarders, courier companies, subcontracted logistics, transportation services, warehousing & distribution and knowledgeable in SAP & Power BI.
