KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be a member of the finance team and will fully support the Operations team and Finance director in monthly performance management cycle.
This mainly includes:
analysing performance trends from centre to regional level,
identifying performance issues,
facilitating decisions on performance-improving measures,
keeping track on implementation and resulting performance improvement.
active communication with Operations (Country managers and Regional CEOs), Local and Global Finance Service Centres.
Additionally, the role includes:
Ad hoc analysis, planning and forecasting activities;
Involvement in monthly management reporting process;
Support in finance activities such as Cost Control, budgeting and project management.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1-3 years professional experience in a similar role.
Financial background.
Analytical mind with attention to detail, and ability to react quickly and "think out of the box".
A self-starter, able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment. Not afraid of going the 'extra mile'.
Team player with high level of professional integrity
Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft suite of products, (particularly Excel). Experience with Smartview is an advantage.
High level of (self-)motivation, positive approach and independence.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate well with key stakeholders internally
Ability to work at both big picture and detailed levels as situation requires.
Ability to manage multiple competing requirements; and delivery focused.
Highly organized with an ability to prioritize tasks, manage issues and produce results in a timely fashion
