Roles and Responsibilities
The Finance Associate provides a comprehensive suite of accounting and bookkeeping services.
- All month-end accounting processing (accruals, prepayments, software costs capitalisation, month-end reports, provisions, credit card receipts revenue).
- Provide daily revenue forecast.
- Knowledge and experience with Australian payroll tax-preferred.
- Fortnightly payroll tax calculation (Australia only), payroll maintenance and fortnightly payroll processing for Australia, New Zealand and U.S.
- Full accounts payable function.
- Bills and vendor invoices are up-to-date. Ensure accuracy of recording to correct expenditure accounts and timeliness of payments for Australia, New Zealand and USA companies.
- Credit card receipts collection processing.
- Maintaining and updating fixed asset register on VI Assets. Generate monthly depreciation computation, completing upload templates for processing journals (Australia, New Zealand and U.S.) from the system to GL.
- Daily bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies for Australia, New Zealand and U.S. companies.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation Preparation for Holdings, AU, NZ, U.S. and UK
- Perform monthly budget variance analysis.
- Corporate credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with data reconciliation from systems to the GL.
Minimum Qualifications
- More than 2 years of experience in accounting
A Successful Candidate must have
- Accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively and attend to all matters timeously.
- Good working knowledge of PAYG, GST and Payroll Tax.
- Good command of MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
