An exciting opportunity exists for you once you join our COG Finance Platforms and Data function.
In this role, you will be expected to perform the following functions and responsibilities:
Supporting tasks related to the timely and accurate update of Apptio reports
Maintaining the Apptio system including security access, continuous improvements, upgrades and issue troubleshooting
Reflecting forecast and budget results to Apptio with zero data quality issues
Developing a template used in capturing service demand as part of the rate-setting process
Posting the total billable and service recoveries to the general ledger and reconciling the journals back to source data
Administering the recoveries portal for journal posting
Producing monthly reporting on cost base and business recoveries
Providing analyse and commenting on monthly fluctuations and variances to forecast/budget
Delivering annual analysis of technology recoveries for tax purposes
Identifying opportunities to improve and simplify current processes to increase operational effectiveness and quality of service
Performing knowledge based self-review of work and ensure work with highest standards of accuracy is delivered consistently
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
Possess strong achievement drive and the ability to deliver under pressure and maintain consistently high quality standard of work
Excellent troubleshooting and issue resolution skill
Ability to manage time, workload to meet set timelines for all deliverables
Understands how own team's work contributes to the overall success of the function and is able to appreciate the big picture
Good command over English and understanding of profession communication etiquette is very essential
A well-developed attention to detail but with capacity to appreciate the 'big picture'
Proficient use of Microsoft office suite with particularly strong competence on MS Excel
Knowledge on PowerBI and Alteryx are preferred
Accounting Degree or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
