FINANCE & ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Department: ACCOUNTING
Reporting to: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Job Summary:
Establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, and managing accounting staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General ledger accounting, including preparation & posting of journal entries, month-end closing & reporting, account reconciliations & analyses.
Takes responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, fixed asset activity, etc.
Plans, implements and oversees overall accounting strategy and daily operations
Monitors and analyzes accounting data
Regularly produce financial reports or financial statements
Coordinating inter-company transactions and inter-company reconciliations
Performing fluctuation analyses on account variances for internal reporting
Adheres to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
Improving controls and procedures.
Assist in budgeting and projection process.
Business partnering with relevant managers within the company to provide financial support and information.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new procedures.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Supports audit activities by preparing necessary documents when requested by auditors.
Communicates job expectations, strategies, oversees and assesses individual staff performance.
Responsible in monitoring deviations of members and then giving appropriate disciplinary measure
Coaches and mentors team members.
Maintains staffing requirements by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training new members.
Provides recommendations on trainings, career development and promotion of the finance and accounting team.
Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by Senior Management.

Minimum Requirements:
BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
At least 5 years experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to direct and supervise people.
