We are looking for Filipino teacher for a client in the UK, the student is a gentleman in the UK, total beginner, who wants one class a week on Wed from 12 pm to 1pm UK time.
This is a general Pilipino class that focus on daily communication mainly, also a virtual class, a patient teacher who is experience in teaching beginner level student will be needed.
The basic requirement for the teacher is a university degree and relevant experience in teaching Filipino as a second language to foreigners.
The teaching position offered is an Independent Contractor position which requires the teacher to create his/her own curriculum based on the student's needs. Also, materials are covered by the student's company. Each student is provided a material's budget with which the teacher can buy books, CDs and other learning materials for the student.
Basically, what the teacher needs to do is conduct the classes at the time required and ask the student to confirm the class hour after each class, a progress assessment will be required after every 25-hour teaching.
