FIELD DEBT COLLECTOR
 
JOB SUMMARY:
 
Field Debt Collectors attempt to collect payment on overdue bills by locating debtors by contacting relatives, neighbors, and employer(s) or other official information sources. They review debtor's delinquent account records to determine balance; evaluates changes in financial status and analyze account to provide the client with payment and fee/penalty information and to determine the need for payment plan modification, civil and/or criminal legal action.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Specific Duties
Communicating with the customers having overdue payments on their existing loans aiming to receive full payment of the overdue amount
Verifies and updates clients’ data in company internal system
Locates debtors by contacting relatives, neighbors, and employer(s) or other official information sources.
Reports on collection activity and accounts receivable status
General Duties
Responsible for the fulfillment of personal targets and KPI’s.
Governed by the laws and regulations of the country (Philippines).
Responsible for tasks assigned to Direct Reports to ensure completed.
Follow the safety regulation, hygiene, and fire regulations at the workplace.
Follow the internal regulations, methodological guidelines, and internal management regulations.
Follow the regulations and instructions of Line Manager
Perform other tasks assigned from time to time
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCE
 
Experience and Expertise
Be a Filipino citizen and a resident of the Philippines
High School diploma/Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Flexible and hardworking person, able to work under pressure and willing to exceed targets
Honest and responsible
Experienced with cash handling is a plus
Computer literate
Good driver with valid driver’s license and own motorbike
