Job Specification:Perform field audit procedures per assigned project, as follows (assignment: Region X, XI, XIII projects):Operations audit
a. The field auditor observes the actual day-to-day activities of process owners per assigned projects
b. Conduct interviews and walkthrough to test the compliance of the Company's policies and procedures
c. Performs procedures to identify possible theft and/or pilferage
d. Document the procedures and internal controls tested for the project site
Inventory count procedures
a. Performs actual inventory count procedures together with the assigned warehouseman of the project
b. Compares actual inventory count results with the stock card of each item counted
c. Reconcile any discrepancies noted
Personnel count
a. Account for all personnel assigned to a certain project
b. Ensure proper timekeeping of employees
c. Compare results with the HR records
Fixed asset count
a. Performs actual fixed asset count together with the equipment checker of the project
b. Ensure proper monitoring of diesel levels for service vehicles and equipment
c. Verify results with Motorpool
Inventory of accountable forms:
a. Check completeness and validity of the project's accountable forms
b. Review completeness of the day-to-day issuances of accountable forms
c. Transmittal of documents issued to the main office for recording
Petty cash fund count and reconciliation
a. Perform petty
b. Conduct interviews and walk through to test the compliance of the Company's policies and procedures
c. Document the procedures and internal controls tested for the project site
Report and document findings and issues noted
The field auditor prepares a memorandum report on the findings, issues, and any theft or pilferage noted during the audit, addressed to the accountable persons and the processes involved
The audit memorandum shall be submitted to the internal audit head for review.
Qualifications:
Must be a college graduate preferably BS in Accountancy.
Preferably with at least 6 months work related experience.
Must have a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Must be able to communicate well.
Must have a strong decision making skills.
Possesses good moral character.
Can work under pressure.
Possesses good judgment and decision making skills.
Willing to be assigned in Region 10, 11 and 13 projects.
