Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct audit services for various companies (E.g. project site audit department audit, process flow/procedures audit, compliance audit, batching/asphalt plant audit, vessels audit, personnel audit, materials/inventory audit, fraud audit etc.)
Project Site Monitoring (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao) such as reviewing financial/budget status, site progress, work accomplishment, site slippage, construction material/equipment inventory, manpower (including subcons), project site status and other related on operation.
Ensure site if they are performing appropriately and in keeping with the contract and also monitor if everything is on track and under budget
Checking/Audit of material specification, budget cost, vendor/subcon accreditation, contract agreement of Bid and Award Committee (BAC) awarded subcontractors.
Prepare Audit Checklist, Audit Plan, Notice to Conduct and other pertinent documents prior to conduct of actual audit
Conduct investigations into identified or reported risks or irregularities on project sites.
Perform site/field audits to check proper implementation of policies and procedures in remote project sites and offices of the company.
Conducts interviews to key personnel and walkthrough of the actual process being practiced on site/office.
Conducts exit interviews to discuss audit findings and document corrective action plan agreed with auditees and their superior.
Conduct annual inventory on the company's offices, project site warehouses, company warehouse and staff house in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Perform cash counts of Petty Cash/Revolving fund and other funds related in construction/operation.
Assesses risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance; evaluating manual; identifying process weaknesses and inefficiencies and operational issues.
Develops audit report, recommendation and specific actions and suggest changes to internal control to enhance company's efficiency, cost effectiveness and overall performance especially for construction/operation.
Conducts follow-up audit to verify compliance to agreed action plan and implementation of recommendations for improvement.
Regularly submits consolidated accomplishment reports and other necessary reports to Internal & Compliance Audit Manager.
Implements and reviews Internal Audit Guidelines, Procedures and registered forms.
Ensures proper filing of audit reports, attachments and other relevant documents.
Monitor areas assessed to have higher risk, which includes: Payroll (overtime and incentives), Diesel requisition and consumption, Revolving Funds and Petty Cash custodians (liquidations and balance shortages), Cash advances, Funding Disbursements (Bank Reconciliation, fund transfers), Project Sites, Payables (advance payments, past due, over billings), Vessel operations, and Concrete and asphalt production.
- Preferably graduate of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any related courses
